Admission to postgraduate studies in 2026

Dear applicants!

According to the official decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated August 5, 2026, regarding the extension of the admission campaign period for postgraduate studies, the admission schedule has been updated:

  • September 7 by 18:00 — submission of applications for participation in the competitive selection and registration for the entrance exam in the specialty;
  • September 8–21 — entrance exams in the specialty and other assessments provided by educational institutions;
  • from September 22 — issuance of recommendations for enrollment;
  • by September 26 — updating the lists of those recommended for budget places if some applicants do not meet the enrollment requirements;
  • by September 28 — enrollment of applicants who received recommendations and met the corresponding requirements.

From August 7 to September 7, 2026, the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the NAS of Ukraine announces the acceptance of documents for postgraduate studies to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the specialties F1 Applied Mathematics, F3 Computer Science, F7 Computer Engineering.

Registration of applicants' applications for participation in the competitive selection for study will be carried out in personal accounts through the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE).

Paper documents are submitted to the Admissions Committee, which operates:

In 2026, applicants to the Institute's postgraduate studies must submit the following documents:

  1. Application for admission to the entrance exams addressed to the Director of the Institute.

  2. Personal record sheet;

  3. Master's or specialist's diploma and a copy of the diploma with the supplement;

  4. USE (TZNK + foreign language test), taken in 2026, 2025, or 2024: examination card (result of the unified entrance exam) + examination sheet. (The total score for the two USE blocks must be at least 300 points, or);

  5. USE in methodology of scientific research from 2026 or 2025 (minimum 100 points);

  6. Research proposal + supervisor's review;

  7. List of published works and inventions in the chosen specialty + supervisor's review (if available);

  8. Consent to the collection and processing of personal data;

  9. Passport - 3 copies of all pages;

  10. Identification code - 3 copies;

  11. Military registration document - 2 copies of all pages;

  12. 3x4 photos – 4 pcs.;

  13. Document fastener;

  14. Other documents that may add additional points during admission.

Passport, identification code, higher education diploma, and military registration document must be submitted by the applicant in person.
