On July 1, 2025, the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was awarded the honorary distinction “For Merit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in recognition of its significant contribution to many years of collaboration.
The prestigious award was presented to the Director of the Institute of Cybernetics, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Ivan Vasylovych Sergienko, by the Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,” Professor Anatolii Anatoliiovych Melnychenko.
During the visit of the NTUU delegation to the Institute of Cybernetics (Rector A.A. Melnychenko, Chairman of the Academic Council of KPI, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine M.Yu. Ilchenko, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics and Technology of Igor Sikorsky KPI, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine O.M. Novikov), agreements were reached to strengthen cooperation in such innovative areas as artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and open science.
