105 years since the birthday of Kateryna Logvynivna Yushchenko

December 8, 2024 is the 105th anniversary of Kateryna Yushchenko birthday!
Kateryna Logvynivna Yushchenko was the country's first woman doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, who was awarded this degree for her pioneering work in programming. She, using the experience of operating MESM, developed one of the world's first high-level programming languages, "Address Language", with indirect addressing during programming. Thanks to this language, the dependence on the location of the program in the computer memory disappeared. Kateryna Logvynivna started the country's first school of theoretical programming.
