Biography
Born in 1968. Higher education (Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering). From September 1993 (after internship) to January 2010 he worked in the Department of Programming Automation of the VM Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. During this time he went from a software engineer to a senior researcher (since 1996). In 1995 he defended his dissertation on the specialty 01.05.03. In 2002 he received the title of senior researcher. In 2010 (due to the establishment of a high-performance and distributed computing laboratory) he was elected head of the laboratory.
Research interests
Parallel and distributed computing, in particular, efficient processing of large data sets, extraction of knowledge from experimental data (OLAP and data mining, geostatistics, time series analysis), data representation and integration (XML and data warehouses), artificial intelligence. Much of the research is aimed at applications in the field of processing the results of geophysical research.
Member of the European (EAGE) and the American (SEG) Association of Industrial Geophysicists.
The main results
Works in the field of algebraic-grammatical methods of software development according to the specification of the subject area model. For the results obtained in this field in 2001 he received the award of the President of Ukraine for young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
The original results of scientific activity were used for the development of geological modeling tools - packages" GeoSearch "," Tesseral 2-D "," Tesseral Pro "for the study of mineral deposits. These systems have considerable implementation both in Ukraine and abroad, in particular in Russia, Canada, China and the USA, have been repeatedly exhibited at international exhibitions.
The obtained scientific results have been reported at many scientific conferences and published in 60 publications, 12 of which have been published in the last 5 years, have 5 copyright certificates for the software product.
