Finite element solver Nadra-3D for simulation of spatial processes in multicomponent media
Nadra-3D solver is designed for finite element simulation of stationary and non-stationary processes of heat transfer, water filtration, stress-strain state changes in 2D and 3D formulation.
Currently the main direction of solver development is a finite element simulation of regional groundwater filtration for the goals of analysis of groundwater resources and reserves, analysis of groundwater filtration changes on the stage of water intakes design.
Several algorithms for solving of linear systems with a large number (106 – 107) of unknowns are supported.
The solver is developed using parallel computation and running under Windows or Linux and requires MPI support. It can be executed on a PC or on multiprocessor cluster complexes (such as HPC Clusters of SCIT family of V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of NAS of Ukraine). Part of algorithms is designed for running on GPU with CUDA support.
